Re: Warning against institutionalized religious Dogma.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your thoughtful response and you have made many excellent points here.

"in your defence, you are the only person on this forum that hasnt tried to own god and swing him like a bat at me. as a result we can talk to each other. thank you for that."

Thank you also. i am happy that we have been able to interact with one another with kindness and mutual respect even through whatever points of disagreement we may have including our differing views on the bible. You have been able to do what others have not which is to separate your doctrinal opinions from the bad behavior people pre-emptively launch into and to not be personally biased against those who do not agree with you doctrinally. I believe this correct behavior of not being the one to pre-emptively initiate ad hominem attacks is a basic aspect of bearing good fruit, a basic aspect of Love and of Living in the Spirit. By contrast, religious dogmatism which is not of the Heavenly Father has always had a way of swinging itself like a bat and smashing whatever it wishes while actually imagining that this bad behavior is good. It demands conformity to institutionalized religion and does not respect the free will of people to seek God for themselves apart from their rigid religious Dogma.

Thanks again and God bless.
