I had same thing about 2 1/2 years ago. Passed several within same week. I purchased a Colon Cleanse because I was frantic to do something. My primary doctor at that time was of no help. I had a sinus infection at the same time so my physician treated me for my lungs due to fact that I smoke. I went to the ER with stool sample twice but never got results. My doctor said that I needed to get a life and find something else to focus on. I had sense enough to change my primary physician however, it was time consuming and due to my previous experience (fear of sounding crazy), I dare not mention my sinus infection, black specks appearing on my face and feet, and various other unusual symptoms causing me much emotional and mental anguish. after 2 years of googling parasites, bacterial and fungal infections, worms, etc. I finally discussed my concern that I may have intestinal worms in addition to lung and sinus problems with my new primary physician. He immediately prescribed a medication called Enverm for roundworms and ask for stool sample. He said he was referring me to an infectious disease specialist when he received the results from the lab. Although nothing abnormal was showing, I was at the specialist's office within a couple weeks. He said that I had a bacterial infection (worms) that was caused by a flying insect. I asked if it may have been a mosquito. He answered no. said more like a gnat. My sinuses cleared up within a few days. I am feeling o much better. I wanted to share this because I have felt hopeless for so long and my quality of life was worsening until I happened upon a good doctor. Even though he uneducated and unfamiliar in this area, he listened to my symptoms and referred me to someone that could help. Tweet
