Yes Jesus spoke about repenting but my point is that John, little else other than repent plus preaching fear,
very negative person. John used "Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." and baptized to sanctify his ranting's.

Jesus came along and brought love, care, plus forgiveness for all and not just his followers, that is what I'm saying. Jesus died for our sins so there was no need to repent.
