That looks like food stuck in your tonsils to me. I used to have that trouble when I was young. Food would get stuck and then come out in lumps which smelt horrible.

Your tonsil is probably inflamed because of the bacteria that's why it's so open. I'd suggest gargling with salt (rock salt) water twice daily.
