Re: New Guy, but fasting for about 6 months.
My 20 day fast was from thanksgiving night to 14th of Dec afternoon. Till the 10/11th weekend in that fast I drank black coffee and water and the occasional black/green tea. I was only insulin fasting. The intent was to get insulin sensitivity back. As part of weight loss and pre-diabetes reversal. but 10/11th weekend I was getting so cold and miserable and I had a hectic weekend, I ended up eating butter and MCT oil as well as coffee and tea with Artificial sweeteners. Nothing that made insulin per se, but did give me calories. After that for 3 days I went back to water and black coffee. I end up drinking black coffee just due to being so cold. I'll read the book, but I guess
Water Fast is pretty self explanatory, just water.
I have a event on 25th where I will eat, so I'll shoot for a water only till then, then again I have another event on 29th, maybe shoot for another water only till then.
I am probably just about 10-12lb above where I am likely to be hurting myself if I drop any more body fat. Even now, I am worried I may be burning muscle or other body organs.
I keep these to a few days I should be OK I think.
