Ed, the bible talks about warning about false teachers and prophets, etc. Paul, and others did that and they also warned about false doctrines. So that is our calling too.

But our main message should be pointing to Christ, and his work, not our own. If I am guilty of not pointing to Christ and his work as my main message, then I hope God will show me this and change me in this way because there is nothing more important.
