First, let me encourage you to join the FB group for people working under Dr. Wilson-trained practitioners. No offense meant to anyone who posts here, but you will get a lot of advice/information that may not be helpful for those of us doing NB. So come join us!!! You will find lots of empathy, encouragement, and helpful advice.

Second, I also came to NB after years of poor health. Having tried a bunch of other modalities, I was eager and desperate to be on the right path and to see results immediately. I have had good things happen but also have had health problems uncovered that I was totally unaware of. Sick bodies will adapt just to stay alive, and that's what mine had done. Your story and mine are very typical.

Whether parasites can cause hemorrhoids or not is very questionable. I won't debate that point, but, if you have parasites, at some point they will come out if you continue with NB.

As per the single red bulb, go to Dr. Wilson's site for info on that. I think I shone it on my belly/liver for about an hour a day last year. I didn't have a sauna at that time and decided I would do what I could with other methods. If you are feeling lousy anyway and just having to rest, it's a good use of your time.

Depression, brain fog, fatigue are all signs of toxicity. You may be dumping copper. Regardless of what's going on, follow the program and do all the detox that you can. At some point you will begin to have periods of light mood, clear head, energy, etc. and will be glad you've "stayed the course." When I feel discouraged about the journey, I remember how lousy I felt before and all the things I tried that were "band-aids" (usually prescriptions meds). Even using them, I still felt poorly.
