Re: I am Pregnant with Mirena in place..

I have 2 children 3 and 4 years old. I had Mirena since the birth of my second child, about 3 years ago. Three weeks ago I started spotting but I though that it was not a big deal since the spotting is usual with Mirena. Couple of weeks ago I started to feel weak and light headed but I still though this symptoms were due to bleeding. About 10 days ago bleeding got worse and I started to worry so I got home pregnancy tests both came out positive. The ultrasound showed healthy heartbeat of the baby but there is a blood clot right next to the placenta. The doctor said that the IUD is too close to the baby and said that the best bet is to leave the IUD. This week was better, spotting got brown and the doctor said that this was a good sign. Today I took my children to the park, when I came back bleeding came back. I can not describe how much worry the situation is causing me, I can not sleep and just pray and cry all the time. I constantly feeling myself and on the alert. My husband and I want this baby very much. I can not believe that we are that 1% out of 99 that have to experience this. Please post, reading and posting gives me hope.
