It would help if you stop talking about "faith in faith" issues and stick to what you believe...that is what I want to do. If you keep inserting what you don't believe into the mix we will never get anywhere in finding the truth.

Do you have anymore scriptures that may point to the gift of healing having been stopped? You keep saying you "know". But it seems more like an assumption. The only other scripture that comes to mind is 1 Corinthians 13:8, but that is talking about love, so I'm not sure it has anything to do with any gifts coming to an end because the canon is closed. Any idea as to why Timothy wasn't prayed for?

I'm not promoting "faith in faith"...I want to make that clear...but I don't discount the possibility that people can be healed instantly, even today. I have been to exorcisms, where people were set free. There were christians and non believers both that suffered greatly for years, but were instantly set free with prayer. If demons still exist today, why would their methods be any different now? Is there scripture that says they are finished as well?
