I believe that God puts in our hearts a ministry. Some focus on a healing ministry and people like you and me have a gospel ministry. Everyone will be called to do different things. I personally don't believe that I'm great at this job of sharing the gospel....so it's very hard for me to call it a gift. Nevertheless I feel called to share what little I have to offer, and I have faith that God multiplies my love offering.

I would hate to think that Jesus and His disciples were expected to pray for every upset tummy that was out there, when all they had to do was treat it with something natural. There is a huge difference between an everyday illness and demon influenced illness. We wouldn't be here doing fasts, healthy eating, flushes and such...we would be praying all the time for ourselves/everyone else and doing nothing else.

Demonic oppression/possession has a need of heavenly help through prayer, fasting and of course faith. Without Christ in faith, we have no authority in the name of Jesus to even pray for them to be set free. If someone was to try and cast out demons without Christ, the demons would only attack them. As it talks about in Acts 19. It still happens today...perhaps not always instantly, but without the blood of Christ to protect them, they have attracted spirits to themselves for future attacks, when all they thought they were doing was helping people.

The healing done in the bible was on a spiritual level...not just physical. The spiritual can manifest within the physical. Where does the demonic spirit attack...one's mind. When the mind is affected then the body is affected. But you can have bad health due to just physical reasons...and not spiritually demonic reasons. I think the disciples/apostles knew the difference. I think we should too.
