so increased blood flow somehow improves conductivity in the myelin for at least a short period of time for the CCSVI patients.

This is maybe why the 9 volt battery works with Alzheimer patients.
It is providing the juice that is possibly needed to penatrate plaque, or increase conductivity through the damaged circuits in the myelin. These circuits still appear to be connected but at a limited capacity until given a boost.
