Multiple Sclerosis, Lyme Disease and Andrographis

My wife was diagnosed with MS 14 years ago.
I recently purchased the book for lyme and we tried 3 of the main protocols....
We introduced each herb 1 at a time for 3 days separated by 2 days.
When we got to Andrographis (last one) after 2 days my wife's symptoms started to get worse. We stopped for a day and she was normal. We tried it again the next day and her symptoms became worse again. Her balance, coordination and brain fog was significantly worse. We have stopped Andrographis because we though it could lead to another attack. She is taking Rebif to control the immune system, while Andrographis
is trying to stimulate it.
We thought that maybe she has lyme disease and we would try treating it, but my thought now is, that people that have been diagnosed with MS shouldn't take Andrographis.
I am not sure if others have had this reaction that have been confirmed with lyme?
Anyone have any thoughts?
