Well like yourself I have not visited a church, simply because I have no religion but in any case isn't the "church" the "people" that attended meeting with Jesus and those connected to Him in the first instance.
It appears to me though that once those people were give roofs due to inclement weather division started to appear in the "church":) just a thought saywhatagain.
