Why Are There So Many Churches (EDIT)

Refreshed, I listened to this guy again. In regards to this statement that you said: " And they did say that they did not suggest that anyone leave their church....which was refreshing, coming from them."


Here is what he said about leaving one's denomination:

"We're not advocating that anyone leave his denomination to join our denomination. We're advocating that men leave all denominations and simply be a part of the one Church of Christ."

So in essence he is saying that we should all leave our denominations to join his denomination. The reason he stated it in that confusing way is because he does not consider his church to be a denomination. He feels that the Church of Christ are the true Christians. He is asking us all to leave our denominations to join the Church of Christ because it is the only true church. It is not a denomination in his eyes.
