I am 30 and I am married and have a teenage daughter the symptoms you are describing started with my family exactly to a tee about three years ago they started out mild and have gotten very annoying  severe and at times unbearable. the advise you have gotten would be the common diagnosis with these symptoms like scabies or some of the other things I was reading from other peoples posts what ever it is it is not scabies or an alergic reaction to a soap if only it were that simple I would be forever thankful for the solution but with what ever it is it is not that and my doctor has tried to say numoruse times that it is hard water I have lived in my area since I was born and have never had an issue with the water I and my family definatly feel for you and would love a cure for this we have just been saying recently that we can not be the only ones affected but until more people come out with it and demand some awnsers doctors act like your paranoid we have tried changing our diet and taking probiotics I guess my fear is if this is a progressive thing  the first year we did not have the burning and now going into the third year of dealing with this we have severe burning along with crawl like feelings and crawling in the ear what the next symptom will be i do not know if you find a solution or some things that work would love to hear it and we will keep you posted as well
