Re: Success Story

Hi,

Seeing in another post on parathyroid that your PTH is high and your calcium is medium range to high normal, you have very likely a parathyroid adenome that makes your life miserable. If this is true, then the only way to get better is to get the diseased gland(s) out.

If you have malabsorption of calcium you would have a LOW calcium, not normal to high normal; no way! You have all the symptoms of primary hyperparathyroidism, osteoporosis, low vit D, feeling bad, so please do yourself a favor and get the operation. I read everywhere that Dr. Norman in Tampa is the best in the world, so if you can in any way manage it financially, this is the fastest and surest way to get better. He already agreed to operate on you, this means he is certain you have primary hyperparathyroidism, and he knows what he is talking about.

I hope you find a way to get to Tampa. Good luck!
