Re: Success Story
Doing Ok, How have you been doing? I have started taking chromium polynicotrinate to help with the hypoglycemia, and that has been helping alot. I have less crashes, and without the crashes, my adrenals are less taxed. I feel less anxious, less nauseas, and have a little more energy. I have my fingers crossed!
I eat plenty of protein, healthy fats, I juice veggies every other day. I stopped eating ALL
Sugar and processed foods and coffee last fall when I was first diagnosed with AF. I really miss coffee the most... sometimes my boyfriend drinks coffee, and just smelling it makes me nostalgic.
It would be great to work from home. I have been a teacher, and really miss teaching. However, the stress there would be too much for me right now. Also, the nausea, digestion issues, weakness, brain fog, hypoglycemic attacks and panic attacks would be too much. I was pretty much "stuck" in a classroom full of young children, and legally I couldn't just run for the bathroom, leaving them alone while I had a melt down. As odd as it sounds, if I had a job that allowed me to run to the bathroom (to be sick)and to sit down during a panic attack, I might be able to work.
That is great you have an option of being a stay at home seamstress. I am pretty much only skilled at teaching, so I'm at a loss about what to do at home. Maybe pet sitting? But even that might be too taxing!
