Re: Success Story

I had severe adrenal fatigue for 3.5 years and I thought that because I couldn't find anyone on the Forums who had come back with a FULL and genuine recovery (and not just partial remission) that there was either maybe no cure or that people who did get well were too happy living normal lives to come back and tell us how they got well. I had hoped it was the later but I doubt anyone who suffered with it would ever knowingly keep the cure to themselves.

Firstly let me tell you what I tried and what I thought I had and what tests confirmed.

I had food intolerances , chemical sensitivities, leaky gut, glandular fevers, RT3, payback for every physical activity, difficulty being upright (due to P.O.T.S.), I had lots of trouble falling and staying asleep and sometimes had entire nights awake or at least only often got 5 hours a night despite being in bed for 10-12 hours, I had some mercury issues, I was sensitive to light and sound and my periods went crazy and I cried easily, couldn't concentrate, had virtually no life and gave up all my hobbies, almost my entire social life and hardly could keep myself fed and clothed. I had severe Sugar issues that led to the odd panic attack, my kidneys actually ached and I would get the shakes too and felt weak arms that I could hardly lift and I could hardly walk up steps, or more then a short distance. I had too be in bed anytime I was not doing anything and had to find chairs to sit and cook or do laundry. I crashed severely twice a year and couldn't get out of bed except for bathroom and food from 4-8 weeks.

I had tried: raw diet, food allergy diet, adrenal supplements like licorice and C and activated Bs etc etc, I had seen a chiro and a acupuncturist and even tried N.E.T. and C.B.T. as well as an ortholecular physician.

When I finally had to give up my 3 day pw office job and move home with my parents I had hit rock bottom and was getting worse stamina despite careful pacing. At that point I had to lay down for every hour I was upright I had to spend the next one laying down to recover.

Out of desperation I tried Emotional Freedom Technique because a friend of a friend had told me about it about 18 months earlier but it sounded made up and too good to be true. But I was desperate.

Well in my first 20 minute session I got 5 hours of energy! I couldn't believe it. Within 2 weeks I didn't need to lay down during the day at all anymore and within a month I could easily walk around the shops, up steps, etc. I could socialise without dying from it and I moved back out of home 5 months later. Within 6 months I realised I had so much energy I thought I'd try going for a run. I was able to jog with absolutely no payback.

Now I can travel, socialise, work, exercise... lead a normal life.. I was HIGHLY recommend EFT and if you have any questions please PM me. Its based on acupressure but why it works is because it resets the nervous system and lowers cortisol levels and re-programs the brain to remember how the body can be normal again!

There is hope!!
