Re: Success Story
Paulette, That is great that you have a supportive husband, and that he has a steady job. How many years have you been unable to work?
The adrenal crash/low blood
Sugar episode you experienced is exactly how I feel when I crash. The sweating, nausea, and inability to think and speak are pretty scary. How many times a day or week do you find your body "crashing" like this? Do you start shaking as well?
Sometimes I wish I had a valium to calm down when I crash. My doctor had actually prescribed valium for me a year ago when I first became sick and didn't know it was adrenal fatigue. I was hyperthyroid at that time, and was shaking all the time and having panic attacks. My thyroid problem resolved on it's own in a month or so, and I stopped taking the valium. I just didn't want to become dependent on it, but at the same time, it would be good to have something to fall back on. So far, I'm relying on passion flower and sometimes Bach's rescue remedy, but again, I don't get out of the house and into the real world much, so I'm not exposed to too mnay stressors that would make me panic.
