The Budwig recipe of flaxseed oil in cottage cheese is very similar to the principle used in the Candida Remedy called Wondro. Mixing flaxseed oil with the sulfur amino acid cysteine found in cottage cheese forms a chemical that absorbs the acetaldehyde from yeast.

You can make Wondro by cooking elemental sulfur in flaxseed oil. There is also a Wondro substitute made by mixing N-acetyl-cysteine and flax. Here is a link to information about Wondro and how to make it.
