Since reading dr. Brownstein two years ago, I have set a getting-well-timeline of 4 years for myself. Dr Brownstein writes that if you have Hashimoto's or any other autoimmune disease, you're likely going to take 4 years to recover. The book of dr Schwarzbein confirmes this timeline. But she looks at it from a different perspective: insulin resistance and adrenale fatigue, all looked at from the hormonal perspective. She's an endocrinologist.
