Hello Vektek, I believe the statement above is the way we walk with the Lord and as you say, be guided.
I experience that myself at times and wonder how I arrive at certain places unintentionally and I, like you, there seems to be only one explanation, that being the path that I walk with Jesus.

Charisma to my way of thinking is a falsehood, it can lead us, not by our heart but stimulated by perception.

We can argue that perceptual processes are not direct, but depend on the perceiver's expectations and previous knowledge as well as the information available in the stimulus itself.

I prefer to listen quietly to God without the need of "window dressing" for that's the essence of "charisma" in my honest opinion.

One could view "Satan" in that way, when enticement away from God is at hand:)
