Amen Vektek, ever so important and yet so deeply neglected. Alas, there is a great separation between knowing it's true and actually walking in it with great openness to what He might say. When we come to God with hardened preconceived notions which is our free will right to come to Him with, He most commonly will not speak to us outside of these and this is the predicament most in the mainstream church find themselves in. Selling all that we own to buy the pearl of great price includes letting go of these preconceived notions and becoming completely teachable. We need to remember the pharisees and make sure that we are not like them. They had an immense flood of bible study under their belts, but when the Lord Jesus spoke they were unable to receive His words because of their own preconceived notions of what they thought everything they had read meant. These were supposed believers but they were of carnal nature, not of Spirit. Praise God that Nicodemus was open to truth and i honor him for this. Whenever i think of the pharisees, i think also of Nicodemus and i know there is hope.
