You state: "Arminian doctrine teaches that man's will overrules God's will."
That may or may not be true but I'm not of the hyper-Arminian doctrine. You can read on the internet what I believe since you know my denomination.
When you and I debate you go too far Hyper-calvinist and I go too far hyper-arminian. Well, at least I use to think you were not hyper-calvinist, but the more I hear you say through the years when we are not debating, the more I think you are. The truth is, I'm not a hyper-arminian....I only catch myself going that direction because if I share the middle ground of what I believe between calvinism and arminianism, then the difference does not stand out strong enough for you to see it using scripture.
I already posted something up above in one of the posts that prove that I believe that God is in charge, but He allows free will. It does not interfere with His sovereignty at all. It's God's will for us to have free will. Everything goes His way in the end. He just lets us go through all sorts of hoops and around barrels in life to learn to do it His way....or we perish. But the hyper-calvinist believes that only certain people where chosen to be saved. The others are out of luck...so to speak. I believe that "whosoever will" may call on the name of the Lord and be saved. So our beliefs totally counter each other at each point.
So when we get into these debates involving other things....we still come back to the difference in how you and I read and understand scripture on the matter.
It's like you and I are speaking in different languages.
You stated: "Faith is something that God has not willed, is not a winning combination."
