Re: My folliculitis cure

I have suffered from folliculitis for 7 months now from a staph infection ( I was told by a Head Derm). The breakout eruption of 100+ pustules occurred over 3+ days, trunk, face and scalp. I had a fever the first night. I was convinced it was adult chickenpox since I was overseas and looked up the symptoms online. I did the treatment by applying vitamin e, water, and soups. These pox pustules were the size of half your fingernail on some areas of my abdomen and chest (large white pustules). It was not very itchy though which was odd. I had CP as a kid.

Anyway just before the breakout:
1.) I was taking Antibiotics for a bug bite that grew into a carbuncle 1 month before on my arm (darn hotels)
1a.) I was overseas at the time & showered in a stall for 3 weeks I considered not so sanitary. I could not fly back looking like hellraiser so I extended my trip
2.) 8 months before that I had a bad herniated disk & took some Antibiotics for the nerve sciatica pain( I could not stand up for a few days) Thank god I am 99% better
3.) 2 years before that I had a partially separated shoulder muscle 2 years and took Antibiotics . Both injuries were due to my bad form workouts.

Given this info: it could be staph infection from the bug bite and/or hot tub folliculitis from the shower. I also suffered from Acne since my 20s but controlable with Proactiv or hydrogen peroxide splashes.

I am still very healthy & work out doing core exercises in my mid-40s. I typically eat healthy foods: pure oatmeal, sprinkled with cinnamon, bananas, salmon, chicken, brown rice, green veggies, walnuts, almonds, bell peppers, sushi now, veggie burgers along with some junk of course (chicken or garlic pizza, pita chips, vegetable sweet breads (pumpkin, zucchini) granola cereal, 1% hormone free milk, my once a month turkey burger), no fried foods and ZERO alcohol.

I saw 3 herbalists and the best their herbal juice does is get rid of it 95% for 2 weeks or so but as soon as I eat a bagel, muffin or granola with almond milk it returns.
I also use selsun blue, vitamin e on the smaller new ones, EVCO, mag/zinc supplements, echinacea

So, is a detox cleanse worth doing? I am going to do it?

I have had NO sugars or breads since the 1st of the month, no starchy vegetables or sugary fruits (except blueberries and lemons)
