malassezia folliculitis

hi everyone,

in the past year i have started to get small bumps on my chest, stomach, cheeks (on face) some on back. i went to a dermatoligist who took a sample biopsy of the one on my back and came back with the diagnosis of malassezia folliculitis. yeast infection. he gave me nizoral 200 for 10 days. as well as a cleanser for 3 days leaving on over night and nizoral topical gel.

i have just finished this course of tablets

the ones on my back humped up and i scratched them off and they have not returned yet, the ones on my chest i have scratched off and i am left with alot of scabs, same with the ones on my stomach (although they still feel live) as for my cheecks some came to white heads the other day which i popped and got rid off but am still left with some small bumps on cheecks, right cheeck is worse, bit scabby too..

so i have read on this forum that a yeast free diet is good, so i have started that too, i have been doing that for 6 days now, i started off having soy milk with my oats in the morning until i read somewhere you cant have soy or oats, so i have just been eating the past 4 days, eggs for breakfast and green vegatables and fish/meat/chicken for dinner and lunch.

i have started to feel a bit week, maybe from the change in food, and feeling a bit anxious bout it all.

i have also started a inner health plus dairy free probiotic, and i brought a clorophyll cleanser to get rid of toxins, but i havent started that yet cos i read somewhere you shouldnt whilst on the yeast free diet.

so if i have had this problem for a year, do i do the diet for a month only, and just take the probiotics, or should i be taking something else too, i read diflucan, but i dont want to do something that will aggrevate it more?

I have never had a problem like this before, never had Acne or any skin problems, and am not sure what has caused it. but i want to get rid of it, my derm said that the nizoral tablets should have gone, and that i might have this forever, please god lets hope i dont.

I would say that my case is not a severe kind but not a light, i would say mine is medium.

i also wonder if the biopsy he took on my back is not the same as what is happening with my chest, stomach and face?

I am looking forward to anyones feedback! please! i want to get rid of this for once and for good!
