If you do a little Internet searching you can get overwhelmed with
information on multiple myeloma - good, bad and conflicting but you will be able
to answer some of the questions that you have listed during your searches.
There are a couple of medical treatments that will cure it - bone marrow
transplant, and stem cell treatment but they depend on your age and overall
health condition. The pharmaceutical companies have been slow to develop a
drug because the number of people who have this condition is relatively small,
hence there isn't much of a profit potential in it. The almighty dollar
rules.
I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma almost two years ago and mine hasn't
progressed as rapidly as my oncologist thought it would. In fact, some of
the markers have stabilized and even reversed. I'm a daily meditator for a
minimum of an hour. Have also had spiritual healing support from my
meditation group. Physically I have no symptoms at all and I'm - 81.
