Re: The only thing I'm worried about

The reason knew that your cream wasnt penetrating your crusts based only on your picture, is because when you use a moisturizer that penetrates, those yellow, crusty scabs dont form any longer. Its a soft, skin-looking layer of buildup that does gradually get thicker until it falls off, but it never gets crusty and it doesnt turn yellow.

Also I tried a moisturizer once that didnt properly penetrate and the crusty, yellow scabs continued to form. So I figured that was whats happening with you.

Anyways, I am still really not sure why you have so much trepidation about your crusts coming off. You really should read about wound healing and you will quickly learn that Im not lying when I say that moisture is good and scabs are BAD.

If your trepidation lies in your worry that removing your crusts will cause trauma, then thats a good mindset to have. BUT if you properly moisturize your lips with a proper moisturizer, then it will not cause trauma when it comes off. So you shouldnt have any trepidation about having those crusts come off.

Believe me I have done the leave it alone method. I can tell you it is a FACT that the treatment Im currently doing causes MUCH LESS trauma. And I dont proclaim to KNOW much of anything when it comes to EC.
