I never used moisturizers on my lips before I developed this. One day, the skin on my top and bottom lips just flaked of in big chunks. This memory helps me see that my top and bottom lip condition must be the same since they both peeled off in chunks on the same day. But now my top lip is too raw and moist to be able to form new skin so just my bottom lip does.
