Re: I know a better whole food vitamin source

I just wanted to chime in on the whole "getting your minerals from supplements vs food issue" - Prior to NB, I took supplements but not really what I needed to be taking (because I did not know what I needed). I was just trying different ones randomly to see what worked. I was eating extremely healthy, and following the candida diet perfectly. I was eating 6 times a day and was losing weight.

I was alarmingly malnourished. My nails had deep ridges in them from my lack of minerals. I had muscle atrophy, and my hair would fall out.

Since I started NB - My hair no longer falls out, my finger nails look perfect, my muscle mass and weight have improved (among other improvements). I still have hypoglycemia and mild muscle/joint pain - but really, I've come a long way in 10 months. I couldn't have imagined that I would improve this much.

I don't personally feel that food alone is enough to correct severe adrenal burnout because I tried.

I cannot comment on standard process supplements or whole food vitamins... I have not taken them because of the gluten.

I will say that I think Endomet supplements are overpriced.
