Sorry, I keep answering for him. I personally didn't like how he stated his post about God only speaking to us through the bible. I don't think that is what he meant. We discussed it and he agreed with me that God speaks to us in all kinds of ways, through all kinds of people, his creation, music, and on and on. But no matter what God speaks to us, or in what way, He doesn't contradict His word and there is no new revelation, meaning everything that is important for us to know, has been revealed through scripture. We do not need some new movement rising up with self appointed apostles and prophets to reveal to us new revelation that we must know that God has not already given us through his word. To believe we need new revelation is to believe a lie.
