Re: The wonder is not the dust cloud, but how can...

Where things are clear, i am all for the bible being the final authority.  For example, John 14:6 where the Lord Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth and the life, nobody comes to the Father except through me".  But what good is the bible as the final authority in many other instances where the many interpretations can not be agreed upon among the millions of believers?   If the bible is the final authority, then which is correct between pre trib rapture, mid, post, or none?  Once saved always saved or not?  Predestination of which individuals will be saved or not?  Women don't speak in church, go home and ask your husbands questions?  Just 4 examples among many.  Since this can not be done by theologians, it needs to be done by each disciple of the Lord Jesus hearing the Holy Spirit, a clear hearing which only comes by being dead to flesh and filled with the Holy Spirit, living holy unto God.  Also what about the countless areas that the bible does not address?

One of the big problems is that bible worshipers believe that God could never do anything that He didn't do in the inch thick bible, which by the way is a wonderful book and is a part of God's overall "word" which includes all of the words He has ever spoken throughout all history all the way up to this moment and beyond.  How can discerning whether Kat Kerr was caught up into heaven many times possibly be dealt with by the bible?  A bible worshiper might say, well John and Paul were only caught up once and they were in the bible, so it's impossible that God would catch another one of His children up more than this.  This bible worshiping logic does not settle anything and anybody filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit knows this.  In such an instance it is necessary to allow the Holy Spirit to be our counselor and teacher.  We must, through Him, discern.  I discern through my Spirit, and through dead to flesh, Holy Spirit filled holy living unto my LORD that Kat Kerr was really there.  What does the bible as the final authority say?
