Re: Try external vit D3, magnesium most important
Nothing makes me quite so irritated as folk taking God's bounty and bottling it to make a quick rip-off buck! ~>:I
yes! I don't buy anything at this time that's bottled up, or fractionated. In "supplements" I do take some nutritional yeast, just bulk red star; use it in food prep, and I make my own kombucha, eat bulk kelp, and so forth.
I am absolutely sure you can get off the insulin pump! I believe live fruits and veg, nuts and seeds is the best way.
I'm uncomfortable, a little, with cod liver oil, but maybe not enough to actually get some and use it for the first time in several decades. I find winter quite hard to tolerate.
If you live in a warmer locale, maybe easing into the
Water Fast from a vegan diet is a good way to go. Lots of cases of diabetes resolved with eating raw (not meat).
I don't feel my body would like -or truly assimilate- animal source D3, at this point. I do eat a little sardines and salmon from time to time, but just enough, to keep body and soul together.
I love and deeply respect the practice of
Water Fasting for purposes greater than working on the body. (but first, the body!) Prayer, mediation, spiritual relationship, yes. Am always trying to carve out some time. Have done two longish
Water Fasts of 29 and 21 days, and several shorter ones, but I crave to do another longer one. This time I would like it to be a water *feast*-- in that I want to really break through to taking my food *from another place*, as I have experienced from time to time, when water wasting. As you mention, when speaking of the person you know who water fasts---as a spiritual undertaking.
All the best to you!
