Re: All it takes for evil to succeed is for good people to do nothing.

What can I say.. Life is hard, and the good are not protected by any means. I hear what you are saying, but I do understand why good people do nothing.

For one, there is a 99% chance that the perpetrator will probably get off. Our legal system is horrifically compromised on so many levels. Speaking guarantees you a life being stalked, and not only you, but your family.

These evil people are actually LOOKING for "reasons" to dump their toxic rage, in any form that suits them. Unlike good normal people, they actually somehow find the time to plot, plot and plot some more, because for some reason, ( I guess the fact they are evil), they find time for this.

I've been through this, and most of the world sides with evil. Thats the other part of the equation. The world WANTS to blame the victim somehow, because by not doing so, they are admitting that they are also open and suceptible to being a victim themselves. This is a powerless thought. Instead, its a lot easier to say, "well, that girl asked for it, since she was wearing a short skirt"

I am not arguing with you at all. I wish evil wasnt the all persevasive force that seems to win most times. By sheer need, more money is spent on housing a criminal, then educating a child. Jail sentences are joke. In fact, in MI, I was reading articles about over crowding, and how all the "non-violent" crimes criminals were being released, along with the rapists, and those that have assaulted that are out for good behavior.

Unfortunately, crimininals are not deterred by others speaking up. Psychologists will tell you time and time again, that the answer is to be able to identify the perpetrator, rather than trying to cure evil, and put them away.

THATS the unfortunate truth. Talk to victims that have stood up, and their lives were just ripped to shreds. Going to court is a soul sucking and long process, DESIGNED to wear good people down.

Write your letter to the law enforcement officials, and those that create the law. Its so hard to find competent attornies that are not too overworked to pay attention to their cases. I think the good attornies are defense attornies since they are criminals themselves, and charge ridiculous retainers. Well, of course criminals have the money to spend, its not they worked for it or anything.

But thats my two cents. MORE PROTECTION FOR THE VICTIMS. More competent attornies that care about putting scum away.
