Re: Beans.

Beans are grown in mass for many reasons. One being how stable they are in a clean dry state. It is easy to grow beans and store them as well.

Dry beans are not edible and require basic food prep to make them palatable. Most beans need to be at least cooked and soaking along with sprouting is even better.

All protein sources can be acid forming this simply is as it is.Over eating protein makes for acid build up and gout is a manifestation of such foolery.

If one has respect for the body and does not overwhelm the buffering systems it is not a problem. This is the reasoning for balance in one`s diet.

If the protein is used in the muscles and the collagen matrix it is alkalizing to the body.

Unfortunately there is much silliness in the vegan and vegetarian propaganda.

Being vegan makes getting your nutrition much harder than it should be.And sets up a precedence for failure to thrive.

It is good to know you are doing well with your health.
