Re: Taking a Leap of Faith and...
Ever heard the story about the Buddhist monk who had Buddha come to him in a dream? Next morning he couldn't wait to tell that to his teacher. His teacher told him to kill the Buddha next time he approaches him.
(why? because you don't achieve anything that important over night, hence, the Buddha was not real one, but devil in disguise).
It takes a book to explain everything you need to know, but I can only give a few pointers:
- Any kind of contact, leap of faith, or psychic experience, and even knowledge, carries with it equal opportunity for good or evil. You have just encountered the negative aspect of it.
- Your guides, and angels and all the higher beings who come from light, do not make mistakes. We, humans, do. Don't blame them for listening to wrong source of information or for mis-interpreting what was given to you.
- Every true awakenening has to carry with it deep understanding of the Source of everything. I highly recommend books "A Search For God 1 & 2" for starters.
- Forget about advice given by others in this thread, it is misleading. They know as little as you, or less. Be like a snake in discerning who is for real, and who is not.
- Don't expect quick results. The burden of existence on this plane is usually too much to bare, and it tempts us to escapes of all kinds, false spirituality included. For every true psychic I met, I also met at least 100 lunatics who were badly mistaken.
- Prey for guidance, prey prey and prey.
God bless you.
