Re: Taking a Leap of Faith and...
Your commitment to the practice of meditation is great and your discoveries
are a part of that practice.
What you are dealing with is the body/spirit dichotomy. We often think
what we want in life are in fact what our body wants. We are each an
eternal spirit taking up temporary residence in our body to learn while here on
Planet Earth. We as spirit have all of our answers within ourselves.
When we look outside of ourselves for direction or answers we can get into
trouble. When you say that you were "shown" a date and "was
to travel" (you don't indicate the source but am assuming that it was a
similar source) to a specific place. What has happened is that if this was
provided to you by a being without a body (all beings without bodies are just
that - they are like folks we meet on the planet, some you'd like to have as
friends, some not) you believed what you were shown. There are many,
many out of body entities who are simply game players that like to trip us up
and cause us problems. My perception is that's what you have run
into. The out of body game players are afraid to take a body and are
trying to disrupt the spiritual experiences of those who do. They do this
because they are in fear of taking a body and are trying to disrupt what's
happening here on Earth.
You as spirit have a specific purpose for being in a body on the
Planet. You can discover what that purpose is by listening to your Inner
Voice, that voice from inside yourself that when you hear it - sounds like your
voice and no one else's. If you ask yourself a question and your receive
and answer from your Inner Voice, then that's your information. If you ask
a question from anyone or anything outside of yourself, question the response thoroughly
before even believing it.
We are here to learn what our own information is and to operate on that
information. We all have our answers to all our difficulties inside of
ourselves. One thing about that is that we may not like the answers and
that can sometimes lead to frustration which is body trying to take control -
or, someone else trying to tell us what to do. When we feel that
frustration it's a time to sit down and meditate until we've released the
frustration and found our own direction. By your practice of meditation
you are raising your spiritual vibration. It is a process. It takes
time. Sometimes it is has its moments of discouragement as you have
learned but don't let it block you from your journey of self discovery.
These lessons are never ending as long as we have a body.
