Uncontrollable shaking, anxiety at night.

Hello! I'm new to Curezone.

I am a 24 year old male. I suffer from Anxiety, mainly socially/health related. I have experienced panic attacks, although they greatly diminished when I cut all stimulants and artificial sweeteners out of my diet roughly a year ago. I rarely, if ever get them during the day anymore, and instead get them upon waking during the night.

This is usually brought on by a nightmare or stressful dream, but I suspect the dream suddenly changes into a stressful on as my body shifts towards panic mode, before I even realize it.

Having read over alot of the posts in this section, I am having alot of the same symptoms. As one poster mentioned, the anxiety is manageable until attempting to sleep (turning out the light, laying down). Immediately, I can feel the anxiety rising. This is usually accompanied by uncontrollable shaking and standard panic attack symptoms. I jerk awake if I realize I am about to fall asleep. I usually end up looking my symptoms up on my phone just as a distraction.

My social anxiety makes me petrified of going to the doctor, although with this latest bout of night anxiety, I am eventually going to be left no other choice. I also have gastrointestinal problems, which almost always coincide with one of these nights.

Last night was different. I literally, could not fall asleep. The anxiety did not pass for the entire night, the odd thing was, I eventually just accepted it, and was no longer "fearful", but my body was still "anxious", and if I focused on this sensation, the real anxiety started back up again.

That's why I'm curious if this could be Adrenal Fatigue, my body feels maxed out. Spent. My hair is thinning. I'm 24 but I feel around 50. I've had a rough childhood, and an even harder young adult life. But I refuse to give up.

I appreciate any thoughts or recommendations!

PS: I don't get near enough exercise, and probably don't eat right, although I'm not overweight. I take no supplements. No drugs, nothing.

Thank you

Dayvan
