I think that life is actually harder now, than when my parents and grandparents grew up. Particularly for women.
We can look back and be sentimental about how simple life was back then, but that is just romanticism. I wonder whether women of past generations wanted all those children, or was there simply no choice.
I hardly think abortion is a normal way of life, it is a decision for the woman to make, and it is never an easy one, and it is often a decision made in the most desperate of situations.
