Thanks for all the information. I like your use of the term autolysis. That is a new one to me.
Is the main time limiting factor the return of natural hunger? Past that is that where the starvation they speak of, kicks in?

I am heading out to the desert Monday, to spend a few months. I figured that would be a good place to do a fast. Out away from family and temptations.
