Re: Waterdesign update, pls
Vidda,
Thanks for asking. My bruised forehead/cheekbone doesn't look too bad. All things considered, i'd say i'm doing well and that this WF amounts to one big learning curve for me.
These days, i'm trying to figure out what works for me on the Refeed. (did i say before the WF was MUCH easier?!) I'm finding there are no rules to this at all, and i keep getting surprised at every turn.
For instance, after drinking most fruit juices, I feel like crap. Ten times weaker than on the WF, heart pounding wildly, unable to walk even 5 steps, winded, eyes blurry... and this is how a majority of my Refeed has been. I was getting frustrated as I have to get back to my normal routine soon.
On the weekend, I found that drinking a vegetable broth finally made me feel like i was getting nourished and stronger. I was surprised that i could clean for hours after just 30 hours on the broth. However, the broth makes my stomach rumble very loudly in rolling waves all day, and i get bloated, gassy, and uncomfortable up and down my GI, but i ignore it as i was happy just to have some energy back. (i had no tummy issues with fruit juices). The only thing that seems to settle my tummy grumbles is eating watermelon. Seems to be the best/only thing i can tolerate.
Powerray mentioned the bloating could be because of the garlic in my broth. So this morning, I thought lets be brilliant and mix the two: i had a carrot and pineapple juice, 8oz, and since then i've had a temperature and feel quite weak.
If its not one thing, its another...sigh.
Tomorrow i think i'll do either just water or just
Watermelon all day. I fear doing water because as i mentioned, i have to have a modicum of normal energy in 2 weeks' time and dont want to step back into WF-mode.
In a nutshell about my update: I'm still learning what works for me, but I'll keep troubleshooting and figure it out yet.
Do let me know your feedback, all.
Esp abt the blurry vision. So very strange- did my sight improve/deprove (i wear contacts) ? Shld i see an opthamologist?
Powerray,
Thanks for your input in my other post about the bloating and laxative. I have not needed any. I hope it stays that way.
Your explanation of the bloating, rumbling, gas makes sense. You say it has been an ongoing problem with you, but i've never experienced this till now. The only
food intolerance i've had that i know of is Soy. I never made the connection been bloating/gas/
food intolerance and Bacteria before. I have to definitely read more, i'm very interested. Thanks for the enlightenment.
