You make large sweeping assumptions about carrying a gun. The way you make it sound, sooner or later it will come down to live and die by the gun if you have one. Not so. The vast majority of people who have, and carry, or just have, never pick up their weapon in defense, or anger. Most people go through lifetimes never having to resort to a gun. Because most who understand law and responsibility don't or won't. Frankly it is your kind of mentality that scares me as much as bad guys who do resort to guns, because it is vacant of reality and understanding but full of emotion. State facts, meaning you learn facts, and then you can have a balanced argument. Otherwise, it is scary emotions in which case I hope you don't own a gun, for your sake. Tweet
