To the "ANAL" stink guy who washed his colon... Take heart, all the signs/symptoms of what you are describing sounds like a parasitic condition probably introduced by the water you introduced into your intestines and/or in conjunction with foods in India that were contaminated by dirty hands, etc.
You need to see a doctor who specializes or is certified in "tropical" medicine geared towards abroad-travelers. Your primary/family doctor can help if you bring him printouts from the CDC which provides guidelines for the medical community to follow in general. You'll definately need to at least start with 3 stool samples from 3 different bowel movements to check for all ova/ parasites including giardia (common for travelers) and an ELISA blood test to see if any ova (eggs) are in your blood as well (yes they can travel). You should absolutely go to the cdc.gov website and research all the parasitic infections that humans get from a variety of sources.
The anal itching is common w/pinworm infections that live inside many of us w/out a problem for decades. Could also be in combination with roundworms, etc. But definitely check out the website, you'll be shocked, but hopefully on the road to fixing this issue and having faith in all good things again.
