I don't know about immunity but I think they help circulate the lymph.

Iodine supplementation will improve immunity. I just took 50 mg. (20 drops of 2% Lugols solution in a a glass of water). The thyroid uses Iodine to kill pathogens in the bloodstream. Get enough in the tissues of the body and it will kill pathogens by direct contact. The only thing you have to watch out for is it might remove too many heavy metals from your system at once making you detox.
