I can attest to what you say about ALA. When I ws taking it, like years ago, I was doing it b/c my alternative doc recommended it to me as a help for detoxing. However, each dose made me more and more toxic until I just could not STAND it anymore. It took me a while to figure out this is what it was that was doing it, because, heck, an MD TOLD me it should help. Even when I thought this must be the culprit, I kept taking it, trying to "make" it work for me. Well, it just didn't, so out it went! Tweet
