Re: Raised pulse after eating: what does it indicate?
I also notice that after I eat I get very drowsy. For instance, I'll have a straight
Celery or romaine juice (8
oz. to 16 0z.) and a salad with all organic ingredients, focused on the high sodium over potassium (celery, romaine, spinach, beets, along with tomatoes, avocado, radish, turnip and a home made dressing). I have experimented a lot with the ingredients, and also with and without supplements at meal time. (Dr. Wilson's mostly) I am coming to the conclusion that these foods ARE feeding my body and helping the adrenals, kidneys, liver, etc. to heal and are working hard to do so. I sleep very well finally (10-12 hrs.) and still get this drowsiness after eating. My body is probably healing and the drowsiness may be caused by the body working overtime to heal and telling me that it still needs additional rest. If I was on my old diet (Famous Star/Fries/44
oz. Coke) it would be a different kind of tired: the stomach and digestive system going crazy trying to break down this lunch. Just a thought.
