The most effective way to cleanse the liver is with the digestive bitters we have been talking about. When these bitter tasting herbs hit the back of the tongue they will stimulate the bitter receptors on the tongue. This in turn stimulates the vagus nerve causing the liver to flush. You only need to taste it for bitters to work, so I recommend half a dropper full with meals. Drink plenty of water throughout the day when using bitters to help flush the toxins.
