Re: A poll for those with Seborrheic Dermatitis: Let's get to the bottom of this!

1. What health problems did you already have when you were diagnosed with "?

None specific. It was a long time ago

2. What health problems did you develop after your diagnosis with SD?

Skin rash on my face, eyebrows, eye lids. sides of nose. Skin flaked a lot, Scales.... etc

3. How much exposure did you have to Antibiotics in the year leading up to your diagnosis of SD?

None specific that I can recall (this was yrs ago)

4. Is there anyone that did not take any Antibiotics whatsoever in the year preceding their diagnosis?

Possibly, but unlikely given doctors tend to throw them at just about ever issue these days

5. Is there anyone here with SD that has never taken Antibiotics ?

Not me

6. Does anyone believe that antibiotics have absolutely nothing to do with SD? If so, why?

No opinion on this. Ive seen no connection

7. For those of you that have taken antibiotics at some point since your diagnosis, have you noticed any worsening during the course of taking them? Or did a bad outbreak of SD follow a course of antibiotics?

see #6

8. How many of you are on immunosuppressive medicine? If so, did you develop SD after beginning this medicine?

no

9. Do you have any digestive problems? (I know this is a little personal, but it's important. Irregular bowel movements, loose stool, diarrhea, etc.)

no

10. Finally, what are your personal methods in keeping SD under control? (Please keep this short. I know we could all go on forever, but summarize it in a few concise sentences.)

My savior is Head and Shoulders ever day.
