Re: woman discovered dead after 18 months
I told you I sucked as an amateur psychologist. Still I'd say don't worry so much about the secrets - everybody's got em. We're all human and there's always more hidden than our game faces reveal.
We Americans are way too confessional and I admire people that can guard secrets that keep the reputation of others intact. That shows good character that's something increasingly rare in our world.
My wife is foreign born and no matter how many people try to get her to "dish" on private family matters, she also keeps mum. Neither does she have a big circle of friends, but doesn't seem to want them and values her few close friends that understand her.
Only you can decide what kind of changes in your life now or later can bring you closer to contentment. But my original point was that
Depression can make the status quo so uncomfortable that it gives you the primacy you need to take the radical actions that are often necessary to get your life back on track.
Depression isn't a disease - au contrare. It's a defense and survival mechanism.
