Hey, sorry about the diagnosis. For me, the side effects were pretty massive - my skin was very sensitive and it started to peel off, specially around the lips and nose. My lips became sore and painful if touched, that was pretty awful. But after a while ewerything pretty much normalised and the side effects weren't as bad as before. Even so I'd take them over another folliculitis outbreak any day.

And as for my small doasge accutane course, I've had a new folliculitis flare up last week, despite the daily intake of accutane. Fortunately it died down over a couple of days, so I hope this is a part of the treatment. The effects of the therapy aren't the same as with the higher dosage treatment when my scalp cleared up completely in a couple of days, but still thing are going for the better, and when pimples do appear, they are small and nothing like the massive ones I had before. They also dissapear in a day or two. So overall I'm still hoping for the best, I still have four and a half months to go. Regards,
